Founded in 1989, Theatreworks Live has a 35+ year legacy of providing affordable theater experiences to the children of Harford County, Maryland. In 2018 my husband Mark and I assumed leadership of TWL as co-executive directors. Since then we have established 501C3 Non-Profit Status and expanded our annual season to include three mainstage show (free to participants), two semesters of musical theater, acting and improv classes and three summer camps. Assisted by our 20 person volunteer/advisory board and a team of talented instructors, Mark and I are involved in every aspect of theater production and are mentoring a new generation of theater artists and technicians. Through grants, donations and hard work we have completely renovated our shared black box space and have provided inclusive, quality theater experiences to hundreds of children and thousands of audience members. Our Mission at Theatreworks Live is to develop creativity, confidence and character through the medium of theater.
